Letter from the organisers of the 2011 Finn Masters European Cup
Dear Finn Master
We hope you all enjoyed the Finn World Master in Punta Ala. As we promised at the Hungarian evening, we are preparing an additional international Masters regatta, dedicated for Finn Masters.
The event is the Finn Masters European Cup to be held 11-16 September 2011. Location is at the LakeBalaton/Hungary, Tihany peninsula. In this village we have plenty of cheap houses, hotels, and camper park places next to the marina. No sandy beach! No swells! And a bunch of young helpers for launching the boats.
This time of the year we have mild winds (5-12 kts), 20-23 C water temperature. You can see more details about the location on the following link: www.thesail.hu and a short presentation about the event is downloadable on the following link: http://hotfile.com/dl/123136487/97ca557/Master_EC_2011.ppt.html
For the best organisation, we would like to estimate the number of possible participants, so it would be highly appreciated, if you could reply to this mail within 10 days, whether you intend to come to this event or not.
See you at Lake Balaton soon,
Best regards,
Istvan Rutai
