The 2013 Finn Gold Cup will run from 25-31 August from the Tallinn Olympic Yachting Centre, the site of the sailing events of the 1980 Moscow Olympics.

The 2013 Finn Gold Cup will run from 25-31 August from the Tallinn Olympic Yachting Centre, the site of the sailing events of the 1980 Moscow Olympics.

The practice race is scheduled for the afternoon of Sunday 25 August, followed by an opening series of ten races from Monday 26 to Friday 30 August, with the medal race for the top 10 and the final race for the rest on Saturday 31 August. The opening ceremony will be held at Sunday 25 August at 19.30.

In general Facebook is used for the major announcements and press releases, while Twitter will be used for on-the-water coverage with starts, mark roundings and finishes Tweeted as they happen.

Tracking
Each day the boats will be GPS tracked by Trac Trac. This can be accessed through the event website at www.finngoldcup.org/2013.

Photos

Free of rights photographs, for editorial use only, will be available all week from the Finn Class Flickr page at http://www.flickr.com/photos/finnclassphotos/. A new 'Set' will be created for each day of the event.

Images can be downloaded up to medium resolution in size (3000 pixels wide). Click on the photo you want and then right click to select the size you want downloaded.
