Silver Cup - Arkadiy maintains lead after tricky race

Determined to get at least one more race on the score card on the third day at the Finn Silver Cup in Moscow, the fleet did not come ashore until 21.00 after a long day on the water. Artur Kotlyatov (RUS) won the only race completed, but race one winner Kistanov Arkadiy (RUS) maintains the overall lead.

The 2011 Finn Silver Cup for the Jorg Bruder Trophy was officially opened on Monday in Moscow with the raising of the flags from Russia, the Moscow School Khlebnikovo, and the Finn class.

Europeans, Helsinki - Scott shows greatness on final day

Giles Scott (GBR) trod in the footsteps of Paul Elvstrom today at the Finn European Championship at the Open Europeans Helsinki 2011. In winning his first major Finn championship he climbed onto the same podium as the greatest of all Finn heros did 59 years ago at the 1952 Helsinki Olympics. Defending Champion Ivan Kljakovic Gaspic (CRO) stood where Charles Currey stood 59 years ago and bronze medalist Andrew Mills (GBR) stood to Scott's left, where the Finn's designer Rickard Sarby stood all those years ago.

Finn Europeans 2011 Medal Race – Video

Race wins for Croatians Ivan Klajovic Gaspic (CRO) and Marin Misura (CRO) on the final full day of racing at the Finn European Championship at the Open Europeans Helsinki 2011 have set up a thrilling sail-off between Kljakovic Gaspic and Giles Scott (GBR) for the championship title in Thursday's medal race. Andrew Mills (GBR) and Thomas Le Breton (FRA) will sail-off for the bronze medal.
