2025 Open Europeans - Naples
The 2025 Open Finn Europeans will be held from Saturday 5 to Saturday 12 April in Naples, Italy.
The Organising Authority is the Circolo del Remo e della Vela Italia with the Reale Yacht Club Canottieri Savoia, the Club Nautico della Vela and the Tennis Club Napoli in conjunction with the Italian Finn Association and the International Finn Association (IFA).
The event is organised under the patronage of the Comune di Napoli.
The Race Village will be at the Rotonda Diaz. The Club has organized National and International events either of Olympic Classes like 470 or 49ers and others. The “Rotonda Diaz” has been the theatre of different very successful events.
The Rotonda Diaz is in a completely closed walking area, and the Municipality of Napoli will open it for the event to allow cars and vans to park there.
The beach area dedicated to the boats is inside the walking area and will be closed to the public
The Municipality of Naples is very security conscious as tourism is really growing and Naples is full of touriusts. However there will be a 24hrs/7days security service as per all the other events the club has already organised at the Rotonda Diaz.

For the fourth day in a row, Valerian Lebrun, from France, is the top of the leaderboard at the 2025 Open Finn Europeans in Naples. For the second day in a row, Italy’s Federico Colaninno was dominant on the water, going one better than Thursday and winning both races. However, Lebrun now holds a 16 point lead from Colaninno, with Estonia’s Deniss Karpak a one point further back in third. Two races remain on Saturday.

Naples has a special place in Finn Class history, so it is with great pleasure that the fleet will return there in 2025 for the Open European Championship, the first major international Finn event in the city for 58 years, and the third time it has hosted the championship.
