The entry limit was reached with 23 hours of entry being opened.
After entry opened for the 2026 Finn Open Europeans in Gdynia on 7 Jan, the initial limit of 100 senior entries was reached within 23 hours, so entry has been closed.
The response is unprecedented and was unexpected.
The entry limit is 120, with 20 places reserved for U29 entries until 31 March.
By 8 Jan, 100 senior and 7 U29 entries had been received.
The remaining 13 places will be reserved for U29 sailors until 31 March.
Entry on the website is currently closed, but U29 entry is still possible.
A reserve list will also be created.
After 31 March, any remaining spaces will be offered to those on the reserve list in order of registration.
