The start of the 2018 Finn World Masters has been delayed due to lack of wind on the first day of racing at the Club Náutico El Balís. Despite another beautiful day, light winds precluded any racing taking place.

More than 350 Finn sailors gathered Sunday 20 May at the Club Náutic El Balís, in Spain, as the 2018 Finn World Masters was opened under beautiful blue Mediterranean skies, which together with the fantastic Catalan hospitality, made for a finntastic evening.

Quick Update

Following a vote at the Annual Masters Meeting at Torbole in May 2016, El Balis in Spain won the right to host the 2018 Finn World Masters.

Porto El Balis is located 35km north-east of Barcelona, situated in the direction of Girona on the northern Spanish Mediterranean coastline. It is located in the Catalonia region of Spain, roughly 130 km from the French border.
