Two race wins for Giles Scott (GBR) moves him up to within five points of the defending Finn European Champion, Ivan Kljakovic Gaspic (CRO) at the Open Europeans Helsinki 2011, after eight races have been sailed. Andrew Mills (GBR) drops one to third, which a nice gap on the rest of the fleet going into Wednesday's final two qualification races.

On the third day for Finns at the Open Europeans Helsinki 2011, the defending European Champion Ivan Kljakovic Gaspic (CRO) has moved into the overall lead after a first and a second in Monday's two light wind races. Andrew Mills (GBR) had two top 10 results but drops to second while Pieter Jan Postma (NED) also drops one place to third.

At the Open Europeans Helsinki 2011, the Finn class opened its European Championship on Sunday with three spectacular races in almost perfect sailing conditions. Defending Champion Ivan Kljakovic Gaspic (CRO) won the opening race, but then Andrew Mills (GBR) won the next two to lead overnight from Pieter Jan Postma (NED) in second and Giles Scott (GBR) in third.
