ANNOUNCEMENT: Container Transport from Europe to Brisbane for 2026 Finn Regattas
We are pleased to confirm our professionally managed container shipping plan from Sail Concepts (Europe) to Brisbane, Australia, in preparation for the 2026 Finn Gold Cup, Oceania Championship, and associated events.
This is a fully supported, end-to-end logistics solution to ensure your boat and gear arrive safely and ahead of time.
📦 Key Details:
• Origin / Packing Location: Sail Concepts, Warmond, Netherlands
• Port of Departure: Rotterdam, Netherlands
• Loading Window: Final week of September 2025
• Departure Deadline: Mid-October 2025
• Direct Shipping: Fast, direct sailing to Brisbane to minimise delays and reduce risk
• Arrival in Brisbane: Late December 2025 – with built-in contingency to allow for potential shipping delays and ensure boats are ready for early January training
• Local Services:
o Rack Construction & Container Loading by Sail Concepts in Warmond
o Unloading & Rack De-installation by our team in Brisbane
o Transport from Port to Venue included
o Consignee Services: NB Sailsports will act as the consignee to reduce paperwork and costs for all sailors

o 🔁 Return Shipment: Re-loading and re-packing will take place in Brisbane in late February / early March 2026
🧾 Sailor Responsibilities – Mandatory Equipment Declaration & Cleanliness:
Each sailor must declare the following at the time of booking:
• Boat description with ISAF/WS hull number
• Number of masts and booms
• Rudders and sails must be packed inside each hull
• All equipment shipped must be returned with the same sailor
IMPORTANT:
• All equipment must be clean before loading
• Absolutely no food, or perishables in boats
• Boats must be as clean as possible to meet quarantine and import requirements
💶 Cost & Payment Schedule:
• Total Return Transport Cost: €3200.00 per boat
o Deposit (securing your spot): €300.00 – payable now
o Final Payment: €2900.00 – due before shipping mid-October (invoiced separately)
